CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION are words that are banded about but what
do they really mean in practical terms and how can they be applied
effectively and profitably? This event specifically for the creative and
digital media industries will look at the opportunities to work together,
the ways creativity is cultivated and how productive partnerships can be
formed. Visit an exhibition of local artists, companies and

In most economies, smaller enterprises are much greater in number than
large firms. Interestingly, in many sectors, SMEs are also responsible
for driving innovation and competition. But how do these two distinctly
different entities --the Big Fish and the small fish-- come together to
create business innovation and to swarm around new business
opportunities?
This workshop provides strategic insight, specific guidelines and
real-world case studies for small fish and Big Fish alike. Big Fish and
small fish simply don't get along in the real world, because Big Fish
constantly swallow and consume small fish without even noticing it. The
Virtual Enterprise Network creates a symbiosis, a living, mutually
beneficial relationship among dissimilar organisms, where the
participants, big and small, can thrive together in the 21st century
world of extreme competition.
Who should attend:
- Small Knowledge-based businesses who want to reach global markets
- Well-established businesses who are looking to provide their customers with innovative newproducts and services
- Major End Users who are looking for ways to work with more innovative suppliers in terms of product and pricing
- Enterprise Development Agencies who are aiming to strengthen regional competitiveness through inter-firm cooperation
- Universities and Applied Research Departments who are looking for new routes to market for their services and IP
- Consultants who offer Business Development, Marketing, Team Building and Technology services to businesses
